Woot! This was fun workin with you guys :3
Not the best...
But has potential i suppose. The Music doesn't loop. And there should be some visual indicator of if the ball is moving, rather than just the platform moving under it. Also maybe some sore of level indicator as well. Just a general graphis overhaul would do this a great deal.
Tis Pretty good
My last review got removed due to a technical issue.
With the music, it is now muuuuuchly better :3
It did not say that you could move side to side, which is a really useful thing to know at the last easy level. Make sure that is known early on rather than having us guess it.
Well I give you an "A" for getting through the submission process, buuuuuutttt...
So many things could have been better about this one.
Instead of being lazy, make the entire thing rather than using a picture and editing around it lol. Also you might want to give the characters a little more detail so that we can at least say "DAT WASH SOME GOOD GRAFICX TO BAD DUH GAME SUCKS!"
Also, instead of starting out super fast make it more of a progressive thing, and give us more bread, oh and bread power-ups.
Also the audio quality wasn't the best, i know you probably wanted this to be as small as possible, but it might be a good idea not to reduce the sound quality too much.
So yeah, good luck with this one, don't know much more that can be done to this one....
I dock points only because this looks nothing like the river that it was shot on, in which was probably a few, but it was in a river nearby where i live =P
I've already seem a similar game to this one, though this one is a bit different with the rat and all.
The graphics, aren't that good, the only actual movements are the rat and the dropping pills. The rat doesn't make any sort of walking animation, and just sort of slides around. At least give the rat some sort of movement.
The controls where just plain bad. Sorry, but it's true... The rat moves, yes, but when you press the button quickly, the rat just keeps moving, even if you didn't hold down the button.
The instructions should be given as your playing rather than in a separate section, since no one really will look at a "how to" section of a side scrolling collection game.
The music is a little bit lower quality and is a little icky at times as far as the sound.
Other than those, there really isn't much else to say other than i'm sorry if i have hurted your feelings.
Oks thanks for telling me the problems :P they will be usefull
Thanks for reviewing!
Not much to it...
I mean, it does what it does, and it does it pretty well.
The graphics aren't amazing, but they fit well to distract you and get you to almost loose focus on the spiral, which for this kind of game is a good thing. But i would recommend maybe having the background and the main spiral progressively get trippier, like i mean, start of with a simple non moving background then get more movement as you get further.
Also, maybe have more sounds, and music in it, like have a more interactive song in the background, that speeds up as the level increases. It just needs to be more audioly pleasing in general.
Anyways, it's not bad, but could use a lot of work. =3
<(Review Request Crew)>
Very well made
But a few things that could be nice to add, maybe in a next version or update:
1.) More Levels- Though i know it would be kind of hard to add variety to this, but maybe add some sort of upgrade ability.
2.) A drop down button for the tetris- This could just be something that could be turned on or off in an options menu. This would only be so it would make it easier for some lol
3.) Boss battles- This would probably be the hardest thing to add. But some how making it so that te boss would have a similar ability to use tetris blocks, and somehow incoperate both styles to have to defeat the boss.
I don't know, just some thoughts. I enjoyed it. =3
Thanks a lot !
If we make a "sequel" to TTT, we'll think about these improvements :)
I like the semi-morbid sense of humor throughout and the challenge that the levels do provide.
Also the level editor is awesome, though limited, but it forces you to try to do a lot but at the same time only given a few tools to do it. I think thats a good thing because it forces us to actually think about how the level will work than just being able to make an awesome looking level that only requires you to run left lol
The only thing i cold say, is it would be nice to be able to add some sort of descriptions to your made levels, maybe so that the little person on the right will say what you typed into a dialog box. I don't know, just a thought. =3
